Serralunga, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyA blend of various village sites from Serralunga owned by Fontanafredda. Spicy, curry, tar, smoky, liquorice, strawberry jam, black cherry, leather and light barnyard aromas. Dry, fresh, juicy, ripe tannins and full with good concentration and balance. Smoky, tar, floral, strawberry jam, prune, tobacco, vanilla, liquorice, cherry and game flavours with a touch of leather and curry. More modern, feminine style but good intensity and length.
