Serralunga, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyPruny, ripe, black cherry and tar scents mark the opening of this Serralunga D'Alba nebbiolo. The attack is medium-bodied with smoked cherry, black tea, dried fig and earthy/branch notes, ripe fruit and somewhat blocky tannins. A pretty floral note charms at the salty finish. Decant, partner with sage-dusted pork chops now, or lay down for another couple of years to meld further.
