Haywire White Label Pinot Noir 2016

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA touch reduced on opening so be sure to splash decant. Warm and generous, with ripe cherry, raspberry and stewed forest berries up front. From Secrest Mountain Vineyard, this was native fermented followed by 11 months in concrete. There's a medical, cherry cough candy thread that is buried underneath the earthiness, with tannins that are finely nubby and dusky, to a cola, black pepper finish. Drink now with rare duck burgers or let this settle into itself for another year.Tasted: 20 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:
