Synchromesh Wines Bob Hancock Riesling 2016

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRetasted. 2017 was third generation Naramata born and raised farmer Bob Hancock's final vintage, and the name Alan Dickinson, Synchromesh founder and winemaker, gave the special vineyard. Bob had seven decades' familiarity with the site, tucked up the north end of Naramta Bench and adjacent to his family's homestead. The 3.5 acre south-facing site is sloping gravelly clay and calcium carbonate, planted to self-rooted 21B Riesling vines. Lovely verbena, gingered pear, peach, yellow apple, is laced with fine spicing and swelling with juicy acidity. Still very much in youth, and with lengthy staying power, just like its namesake. pH 2.79, TA 9.975. RS 38 g/l. 442 cases.Tasted: 15 October 2018Tasted by: Prices:
