Synchromesh Wines Bob Hancock Riesling 2017

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSynchromesh, and founder / winemaker / powered by riesling inspirer Alan Dickinson, has earned the title as THE riesling producer in Canada, on par with the best anywhere. Though third generation Naramata farmer Bob Hancock marked his last vintage in 2017, Synchromesh still has use of the fruit for the time being, which is a blessed thing. In Alan's hands, the 3.5 acre gravelled clay / calcium carbonate south facing site of self-rooted 21B riesling vines quivers with energy in 2017, pulsing lovely lime pulp, lemon verbena, pear, quince, honey, ginger and apricot blossom along the fine grained but potently spiced elastic palate, right through the lengthy finish. 9.62 percent, pH 2.79, TA 11.23, RS 47.2 g/l. 220 cases. The site sold, but Alan will still be farmingTasted: 15 October 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
