Bartier Bros. Rosé 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI should recuse myself from this review because I was at the Northern Italy tasting where a particularly tasty pinot grigio rosé inspired winemaker Michael Bartier to mix some light gewürztraminer with some crisp chardonnay (both still fermenting) and some cabernet franc still in contact with its skins when he returned. The result: a perfect Provençal-style pink with an electrically-charged BC version of red fruits and acidity. Picked early to maintain its acidity this is a winner and unbelievably sold in BC Liquor stores.Tasted: 23 May 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $17.49 | 750ml | winery direct or private wine stores |
