Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVery pleased to retaste the 2013 Sparkling Chenin Blanc a few months after my first (pre-release) taste, as the finished time in bottle has made a huge difference to the quality of this iconic BC wine. Racy crisp and lemon pith tight, with a fine, potent bead of lemon acidity to drive this to a shimmering, salty finish. Green apple, light hay is textured with a chalky grip, adding interest on the lean palate, buffered with just enough Okanagan orchard fruit to balance the searing chenin acidity.
