Puglia, ItalyHeady dark florals lead and linger throughout this full bodied, fresh blend of aglianico, cabernet sauvignon and syrah from Apulia's DOC Castel Del Monte. An Antinori project, this is certified organic. Trentangeli underwent MLF and then a year in French and Hungarian oak before an eight month stint in bottle before release. Sweetly spiced, with black raspberry, potent anise, worn leather, scrubby herbs and a tug of tarry tannins to the warming finish.
