Puglia, ItalyTormaresca is an Antinori project in Puglia bringing modern attitudes to ancient grapes. This DOC Rosso Castel del Monte DOC is a 70/20/10 blend of organic aglianico, cabernet sauvignon and syrah grown on Bocca di Lupo estate in Minervino Murge in the province of Bari-Andria-Trani. The must is fermented in conical stainless steel tanks for 15 days. The wine is aged 12 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels and eight months in bottle. Love its rich, silky textures, spiced black fruits, raisins and liquorice and the freshness that breathes vitality into the finish.
