Haywire Free Form Natural and Unfiltered Red 2015
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFree Form wines are made naturally, with nothing added or taken away. This, clone 667 pinot was fermented wild in two 800L amphorae and aged on skins for eight months before it was pressed and left an additional month prior to bottling, without any additives. Light dusty, strawberry, raspberry fruit revolves around a plum core that finishing with earthy, drying tannins with autumnal notes. Juicy, young and natural, it’s showing its unprotected age. We will revisit this wine in the future.
