Côté Mas Languedoc Reserve 2015

Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThe perfect introduction to the south of France at a terrific price. Jean Claude Mas does a fine job of mixing a quartet of classic Languedoc grapes: grenache, syrah, mourvèdre (GSM) plus carignan. The result is an approachable but sophisticated blend of floral, cherry and black fruits, garrigue and texture. Made for autumn, think stews, casseroles, pork or whole roasted chicken. It is ‘Le Luxe Rural’ and it’s excellent.Tasted: 12 December 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
