Arrowleaf Solstice Pinot Gris Suncrest Vineyard 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Arrowleaf style is very pure and fresh and the Solstice Gris, made from the oldest vines grown in the Suncrest Vineyard, is no exception. The cool site is reflected in the intense aromas and flavours. The wine is fermented and aged in acacia wood and neutral French oak puncheons, adding weight, and partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring adds creamy notes to the honeyed pear fruit. A winter style pinot gris with a firm citrus undercurrent. Try with creamy/butter pasta or fish dishes.Tasted: 30 September 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
