Blue Grouse Cowichan Station Pinot Gris 2015

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaCrisp, tight pear is padded with fleshy yellow apple, melon and more fresh pear notes. The light palate carries a creamy layer of fine lees (15 percent is barrel fermented), but the whole is briskly brightened by a rivet of acidity and a driving lemon pith. I love the freshness here, reflective of the Islands, and a great direction for this wine.Tasted: 30 August 2016Tasted by: Prices:
