Blue Grouse Cowichan Station Pinot Gris 2013

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaDry farmed until torrential rains September 23rd. It was eventually picked in mid-October when the canopy gave up. A small portion is barrel fermented adding some middle weight and texture to what is a fairly crisp rendition of pinot gris. Look for a bright peach/melon nose with a whiff of vanilla followed green melon and lemon notes. Try this with turkey meat or seafood pasta dishes.Tasted: 11 March 2015Tasted by: Prices:
