Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesNot as ripe as you might hope for from the Alexander Valley, this cool, peppery, red is long on cedar, cassis and tobacco notes. The palate is round, the tannins grippy/grainy tannins and more, earthy, cassis and chocolate flavours flecked with savoury, menthol cherry and cocoa. The finish is dry with peppery note.
