La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir 2013
Monterey County, Central Coast, California, United StatesThe La Crema pinot Monterey version is one hundred percent pinot noir and about 15 percent sees new French oak for seven months. The nose bright and juicy with intense plum fruit. The textures are super soft and easy to sip with solid acidity and more stony, cool, juicy red fruit spikes with orange tea notes. The rocky, windswept sight is a true hoe for cool-climate pinot. The 2013 vintage was excellent characterized by the daily cooling winds arriving later in the day, allowing for even more ripeness.
