Monterey County, Central Coast, California, United StatesLa Crema Monterey pinot comes off the coolest vineyards at the northernmost tip of the valley. The style is aromatic with fine acidity. A cool year contributed to a longer, almost New Zealand-like hang-time, and you can smell some of that celery salt and floral components in the nose. On the palate black tea, rhubarb, and plums dominate among its silky soft textures. This one easily slides down glass after glass. Delicious and ready to drink.
