Blue Grouse Cowichan Station Estate Bacchus 2014

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaBacchus is a silvaner/riesling cross with muller thurgau and at the Blue Grouse Cowichan vineyards, it presents a lean, crisp coastal white. Mandarin, candied peach and candy necklace / powdered citrus lead the light bodied palate, one that is cushioned with a thin layer of gooseberry and pear gummies. Powdery citrus returns on the finish, a tight, short one. Pour alongside simple shellfish dishes.Tasted: 16 December 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
