Louis Bernard Gigondas 2013
Gigondas, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceSmoky, black cherry, licorice, gamey, resin nose with streaks of tobacco, black raspberry and light balsamic notes. The attack is fresh, round and juicy with light tannins. Good black raspberry, black cherry, black licorice, light garrigue, meaty, pepper, tobacco and herb flavours. The finish is a bit tart at this stage but there is very fine fruit with a touch of warmth. Drink now or over the next three years with rich fall dishes.Tasted: 24 September 2015Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $36.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Authentic Wines and Spirits |
