Coolshanagh Chardonnay 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCoolshanagh is a meeting place of friends and a spectacular, small vineyard that sits some 7 kilometres north of Naramata on the path to Chute Lake. Owners Skip and Judy Stothert work with Okanagan Crush Pad winemaker Matt Dumayne to make this standoffish, stony mineral chardonnay that comes with medium intensity, dusty, chalky, green apple fruit flavours. The 2013 is the best yet revealing its true nature thanks to the use of large neutral oak barriques, egg-shaped concrete vats and careful lees aging. A halibut natural, it can work with oysters and seafood pasta dishes.Tasted: 04 September 2015Tasted by: Prices:
