Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the Clos du Soleil Grower's Series collection this pinot blanc comes from the Middle Bench Vineyard in Keremeos. Perfumed orchard fruits greet immediately on the nose - pear, yellow apples, white peach - and a top note of stone and wildflowers. These notes carry onto the bright palate, where subtle honey, lightly creamy lees and ample fine stony spice comes into play. Lovely, stone-driven, elegant and bright example of what pinot blanc, handled well, can achieve. Halibut would be a great choice here.Tasted: 14 September 2015Tasted by: Prices:
