Anarchist Mountain Vineyards Elevation Chardonnay 2012

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTasted alongside the 2013 Elevation the ’12 is a big improvement over the 2011. Pressed and barrel fermented this chardonnay is aged on its lees for 10 months. Production is tiny at 75 cases or three French oak barrels and thankfully only one is new. The vines are almost 30 years old, planted in 1985, and production is mountain spare. The attack is fresh and crisp and full of lemon and citrus notes over butter and hazelnuts. Ready to drink now with a great piece of brie or a rich piece of fish.Tasted: 26 August 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
