Quails' Gate Chasselas - Pinot Blanc - Pinot Gris 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAll three grapes are hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, cold fermented in stainless steel tanks and then fermented separately leading to a fresh and aromatic white that has a little bump of electricity this year thanks to less sugar or more acid (or both) that heightens the fruity green apple/pink grapefruit nose. The blend is mix of chasselas/pinot blanc/pinot gris and the nose is a fresh orchard fruit affair with bits of pears, red apples, wet stones and more grapefruit. Spicy fish taco is favourite match as a margherita pizza. Impressive for the price.Tasted: 22 July 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
