Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaThe nose is slightly reduce but with time opens up with black cherry, tobacco, black pepper, savoury, orange peel, meaty, coffee aromas. Dry, fresh, round, juicy palate with light tannins. Savoury, blood orange, plum, cassis, black olive, tobacco, peppery flavours. Good intensity if a bit short on the finish. Fine for grilled beef or lamb. The ‘Milagro’ waiting for a miracle 'Amalaya' wine is grown at some of the highest vineyards in the world.
