Chateau Haut Brion 2010
Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceWhat a great bottle of Haut Brion currently in a good space. Finesse over power is the story here and red fruits over chocolate and toast. The nose is an elegant aromatic affair with red fruits and fabulous minerality electrifying the blend. On the palate violets, tea, stony red and black fruits and sweet round tannins with just enough acidity to keep it all in line. This will age forever just fine tune the menu to follow the tannins.
