Quails' Gate Chasselas - Pinot Blanc - Pinot Gris 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTypically aromatic with fresh fruit nose flecked with green apples and pink grapefruit. The blend is 45/30/25 chasselas/pinot blanc/pinot gris. The attack is off dry with notes of pears, red apples, more grapefruit and just enough wet stone minerality to keep the sugar in check. You can try this with a spicy fish taco or with a creamy mushroom pasta dish. Impressive quality for the price. All three grapes are hand harvested, whole bunch pressed and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks and fermented separately.Tasted: 15 September 2014Tasted by: Prices:
