Napa Valley, California, United StatesA perfect growing season has contributed to a fresh juicy delicious style merlot with about twenty five percent cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec. It's aged 14 months in French and American oak (21% new). This is delicious stuff treading the fine line between ripe and savoury it opens with a fresh juicy black fruit attack grown across a variety of Napa sites. It's an elegant style that speaks to the potential of this variety and what can be done when fat and full isn't the game.
