Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPlanted on glacial till at the most northernly winery at the end of Naramata Bench (approximately 580m), Okanagan scrubby herbs leap out of the glass - dried thyme and sage - followed closely by perfumed rose blossoms, anise, key lime and lemongrass. This dry, refreshing and intriguing blend of gewürztraminer/riesling carries the roses through to the bright palate, alongside shearing white grapefruit acidity, bitter herbal thorns, candied lime peel and a light dusting of sweet spice.
