Bella Sparkling Blanc de Blancs Oliver East Side Reserve 2013
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPart of Jay Drysdale's Reserves programming (as noted by the black label). We're tasting this four years along from first view, now with 58 months on the lees, and obviously a very different, more mature version of Oliver East Side. Chalky, fine lemon, lees wrap around a searing, sharp tight lemony core. Licks of butterscotch on the nose lead, and bitter lemon notes linger in the back end.
