Western Cape, South AfricaAustralian winemaker Richard Rowe has evolved the style over the past half-decade to make it friendlier; the blend a mix of a cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, merlot and petit verdot and other grapes. The attack is sweet with smoked leather undertones and some fresh acidity poking through the back end.
