Layer Cake Shiraz 2012

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaPeppery, poultry spice, mocha, prune, black cherry, tobacco, rooty, meaty aromas. Full, round, juicy, smooth palate with a slight sweet and sour note. Black pepper, meaty, tobacco leaf, tomato puree, coffee, blueberry, coffee flavours. A bit warm and tart, a theme with Layer Cake, but with enough fruit to balance the overall wine.
