Fort Berens Pinot Noir Rose 2013
British Columbia, CanadaFort Berens always brings a light hand to their wines but we wish they could lighten up on the pink red colour to really let this wine shine. The colour method is saignée, a bleed that delivers fresh, citrus, raspberry pinot noir fruit to the palate. The wine is dry, fresh and mouth-watering calling for food. The duty of every rosé as far as I'm concerned. Grilled chicken, goat cheese and pork belly would all be fine matches. All estate fruit.Tasted: 25 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
