Fort Berens Pinot Noir Rose 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFort Berens wines always display a light hand which is a bonus in BC where our best whites and pinks should be light and ethereal. Look for a candied strawberry/pink grapefruit nose and palate. It's quiet, smooth, fresh and fairly long on the palate with a pinch of mid-palate sweetness followed by hint of citrus in the finish. This rose is made from pinot noir, hand-picked, at 1.6 tons to the acre. Should be very food friendly with salmon, chicken, goat cheese, summer sausage or sip solo.Tasted: 26 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
