Meyer Family Vineyards Pinot Noir Micro Cuvée McLean Creek Vineyards 2012

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGood cherry colour with smoky, lees, vanilla, tobacco leaf, compost, strawberry jam, barnyard, liquorice, celery salt, floral and light barnyard aromas. The top label Micro Cuvée is cleaner and its round, smooth palate with light tannins and juicy acidity is slightly fresher and finer than the two single vineyard pinots. Celery salt, carrot top, strawberry jam, raspberry, tobacco leaf, cedar, vanilla, meaty, chocolate and orange flavours. Good intensity but has some youthful tannins and acidity to tame on the finish. Give it 2-5 years.Tasted: 26 March 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
