The attack is dry and round with smoky, spicy, orange peel, lifted cassis fruit with balsamic, dill, vanilla, leather and tobacco flavours. Long finish with good finesse but a touch herbaceous and cool for this class of wine. Needs 2-4 years best with grilled meats. The blend is 54% cabernet sauvignon, 21% carmenère, 16% merlot, 6% petit verdot, 3% cabernet franc.
