Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe 09 Dominus is all class reaching past the big Napa style for something more reserved. The blend is 86/10/4/ cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The nose is a mix of earth and minerals with pepper, cassis iodine and spicy cardamom flecks. The palate is awash in smooth fine-grained tannin, liquorice, black cherry, cedar, olive notes. Love the refinement and richness and balance.
