Dominus 2010
Napa Valley, California, United StatesIn 2010, like last year Dominus, is finding its rhythm mixing the power and warmth of Napa with the restraint and length of Bordeaux. The blend is a 95/5 mix of cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. The nose has a pronounced cool, menthol/medicine chest note with, licorice, black cherries that all spill on to the palate. Love richness and density of tannin that gives way to a very balanced fruit forward finish. Another fine bottle that will age for two decades or more.
