Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFragrant cedar, cassis, chocolate, meaty, tobacco leaf nose with medicinal/mint, prune notes. Dry, round, elegant attack with more cedar, coffee, prune, cassis, menthol, liquorice, roast meat and vanilla flavours. The finish is quite oaky and dry with some youthful tannin and tartness to drop. Needs time to integrate or serve with a piece of grilled meat to temper the tannins and wood.Tasted: 25 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
