Painted Rock Syrah 2010

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen chocolate, vanilla, blackberry, white pepper, tobacco nose with meaty, leather and sage aromas. Dry, fresh, somewhat lean entry marked by youthful tannins. The flavours mix coffee, pepper, prune, smoked meat, blackberry, poultry spice and rosemary flavours. Fine concentration but as usual showing a lot of oak. This will needs two to three years of bottle age to round out and integrate.Tasted: 26 April 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices: BC 40.00 winery direct, private wine shops Producer: Painted Rock Estate WineryDistributors: Winery Direct
