Painted Rock Syrah 2012
Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPeppery, tobacco, boysenberry, celery salt, meaty, chocolate, thyme and mint aromas. Dry, fresh, elegant but somewhat lean palate. Coffee, peppery, savoury, slightly meaty, celery salt, gamey, tobacco leaf, vanilla and eucalyptus flavours. Good balance but seems a little lacking in mid-palate concentration. Good aromatics and finesse but a touch of greenness, perhaps will fatten out with 2-4 years.Tasted: 01 April 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
