Masi Tupungato Passo Doble 2011
Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaVery stinky rubbery reductive nose on opening. The nose settled downed after 10 minutes so we suggest splash decanting. Look for a dry resiny, olive, black liquorice nose. The palate is similarly dry and lean with a peppery, acidic undercoating and a dry lean, savoury, black cherry, acidic smoked olive palate. Fairly tough at this point will need more bottle time and a big piece of meat when opened.Tasted: 28 March 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
