Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ItalyMost years this wine acquits itself well. The nose is always enticing mixing minerality, pears and spice with citrus and almonds. The fruit comes from an area between Collio and Isonzo in what was a good year for white wine. It is fermented and matured in stainless steel and barriques and exhibits ripe tropical fruit flavours that finish soft and round.
