Davis Bynum Pinot Noir 2010

Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe Davis Bynum pinot is a mix of 115, 777, 667, 114, 113, Pommard and 2A grown on the gravelly loams soils of the Santa Rosa Plain in the Russian River Valley. The current Bynum style or should I say winemaker Greg Morthole is a fresher, lighter pinot without being lean. Notes of cranberry punctuate the smooth, smoky, spicy black fruit flavours and textures and thanks to its moderate alcohol (for pinot) it is very food-friendly. Duck confit anyone.Tasted: 04 September 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
