Monterey - Santa Barbara, California, United StatesThe latest GR chardonnay fruit is split almost evenly between Monterey and Santa Barbara and more than two thirds comes of the same blocks now each year and represents about six percent of total chardonnay that comes off all Jackson estates. The old vine Santa Maria benchland vineyards in Santa Barbara County are the building blocks here for structure and richness while the zippy, mineral fresh flavours are form the Monterey component.
