Monterey - Santa Barbara, California, United StatesThe latest GR chardonnay fruit is split almost evenly between Monterey and Santa Barbara but still only represents about 3 per cent of total chardonnay that comes off all Jackson estates. The nose has a bright fresh fruit character of red apple and honey. On the palate it's luxurious with bits of tropical fruit, coconut, peaches, vanilla and spicy lees. Lovely styling with a bit green fruit in the finish. Definitely less fat in the mouth with more mineral and crisp fruit styling.
