Casa Lapostolle Merlot Cuvée Alexandre 2007
Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileOpen spicy, eucalyptus, tobacco, cedar nose with cherry jam, and vanilla, spicy, liquorice mixed with light barnyard and garrigue notes. The palate is ripe, round, smooth and juicy with some tight, lighter tannin. Peppery, cedar, coffee, olive, tobacco, saddle leather, vanilla, black cherry flavours. At four years of age it is well developed yet still youthful with fine fruit intensity.
