Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileLapostolle is owned by the (Grand) Marnier-Lapostolle family and the early wine making was directed by Bordeaux guru Michel Rolland - perhaps that explains the price. The color is inky black. The aromas are a mix of sandalwood, cedar and jalapeno pepper. Quite round and smooth in the mouth but the finish is soft and short.
