Tinhorn Creek Oldfield Series Syrah 2008
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen spicy, meaty, floral nose with bits of blackberry, coffee, sage, and olives. The attack is dry and supple with some mid-palate acidity poking through. The palate is a mix of smoky, savoury, meaty, dried herb and blueberries flavours. Another good effort that only needs a bit more fruit to really shine. The fruit comes off both the Golden Mile and Black Sage Benches.Tasted: 18 December 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct, vqa wine stores (Fall 2009) |
