Tinhorn Creek Oldfield Series Syrah 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky, savoury, spicy, meaty, floral, blackberry, coffee, sage, tobacco, vanilla aromas with a touch of herbs and olives. Dry, round, supple, slightly tight palate but elegant with fresh acidity. Coffee, smoky, savoury, meaty, barnyard, tobacco, dried herb, minty, peppery, resin flavours. Well balanced and forward, should improve over the next few years. Solid style if a bit short on fruit. Certainly one of the best from Tinhorn.Tasted: 05 January 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct, vqa wine stores (Fall 2009) |
