Hermitage, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceHuge peppery, plum jam, orange compote nose with cedar, curry spice, prune, barnyard, liquorice and vanilla aromas. Dry, fresh, elegant but tight with some grainy, youthful tannins. Curry spice, garrigue, pepper, black cherry, plum, liquorice, cedar, tobacco, meaty and smoky herb flavours. Good concentration and length with more fruit than Le Pavillon. This will also benefit from 7-10 years or longer in bottle and will live for decades.
